Document Currency
The Document Currency is the currency in which the original transaction is recorded.
For example:
-
If a chair is purchased from a supplier in Mexico, the document currency is likely Mexican Peso (MXN).
-
If an employee submits an expense report for meals incurred during a business trip to the United Kingdom, the document currency is likely British Pound Sterling (GBP).
