The Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence semantic model in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence uses a role-based security framework to ensure users can access only the data and subject areas they are authorized to view.

The security framework supports:

• Object Security that controls access to subject areas and analytics objects.

• Data Security that controls access to data rows based on assigned security dimensions.

The framework leverages Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence security capabilities and extends them for the Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence semantic model.
