Introduction to the Console or Default Parameter Configuration
DA Applications parameter configuration provides a centralized way to control ETL behavior across global settings, fact groups, and dimension groups, default parameters.
Each parameter defines how a specific load process should behave, such as filtering ledgers, enabling Type 2 history, controlling archive dates, or managing soft-delete processing. Parameters are mapped to functional areas using group codes, group names, and task codes. This makes it easier to understand which configuration values affect each subject area and helps with setup validation, troubleshooting, and upgrade comparison.
The parameters are configured in the following apps. By default seeded values will be provided for the parameters. You must edit the access for these applications and you can change the parameters accordingly based on your business need.
