About Project Forecast Fact

The Forecast Fact table is populated from the PA_BUDGET_LINES table in Oracle E-Business Suite. During the ETL process, a filter is applied to the Budget Version data to extract only baselined forecast versions.

The grain of the Forecast Fact table is Forecast Line, with each record representing an individual forecast line.

Only baselined forecasts are loaded into Oracle E-Business Suite Data Intelligence. Once loaded, existing forecast records are not updated. During incremental ETL runs, only new baselined forecast line records are inserted into the Forecast Fact table, preserving the historical snapshot of previously loaded forecast data.
