Enable Auditing for Descriptive Flexfields

You can enable auditing for your descriptive flexfield to keep a track of all the changes made on various objects and attributes in the application.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Audit Policies task.

  2. Go to the Oracle Fusion Applications section and click Configure Business Object Attributes.

  3. Click Product and select the product area for which you want to enable audit. The business objects associated with that product appear in the Objects section.

  4. Click the check boxes next to the listed business objects to select them. If the selected object has attributes, they appear in the Audited Attributes area.

  5. Click the Add icon to add attributes from the Select and Add Audit Attributes page.

  6. On the Select and Add Audit Attributes page, click the Flexfields (Additional Attributes) check box to add the flexfields attribute.

  7. Click OK.

  8. Click Save and Close. You return to the Manage Audit Policies page.

  9. In the Oracle Fusion Applications section, select Auditing from the Audit Level drop-down. This setting enables auditing for descriptive flexfields.

  10. Click Save and Close.
