Keyboard Shortcuts for Work Areas

You can use keyboard shortcuts to go to specific work areas and do the required task on the work area pages.

Open tabs, such as Me, My Team, and Tools

After you sign in and press the Tab key, the Skip to main content link appears. Press the Enter key to directly navigate to the first tab stop. You can then use the arrow keys (left and right) to navigate through the tabs.

Open specific work areas

When the focus is on a tab, such as Me and My Team, press the Enter key to display a set of work area icons and quick actions for a related set of tasks. Press the Tab key to navigate through the work area icons and quick actions. Press the Enter key to open a specific work area or quick action.

Submit your changes in work areas

After updating the fields on a page, press the Tab key until the focus is on the Submit button. You can do either of these steps:

  • Press the Enter key to click the Submit button.
  • On the Submit button (which is focused), the letter, m is underlined, which indicates that the shortcut key to use that button is Alt+m. So, press Alt+m to submit your changes.
Save your changes in work areas

After updating the fields on a page, press the Tab key until the focus is on the Save button. You can do either of these steps:

  • Press the Enter key to click the Save button.
  • On the Save button (which is focused), the letter, S is underlined, which indicates that the shortcut key to use that button is Alt+s. So, press Alt+s to save your changes.

Cancel your changes in work areas

After updating the fields on a page, if you want to discard your changes, press the Tab key until the focus is on the Cancel button. You can do either of these steps:

  • Press the Enter key to click the Cancel button.
  • On the Cancel button (which is focused), the letter, C is underlined, which indicates that the shortcut key to use that button is Alt+c. So, press Alt+c to cancel your changes.
