Roadmap for the Cloud Extracts

After the accounts are provisioned, you are ready to do the next steps to extract data.

To provide a quick reference, the individual tasks are elaborated and tabulated here. You can use the task descriptions as mapped points and go to the relevant topics for details.

Get Started	Sign in to BICC	Use the provisioned account and sign in.
	Set BICC Console Preferences	Personalize the console as per your preferences.
	Review View Object to Database Lineage Mappings	Review and understand how the BI view objects and database lineages are mapped.
Implement	Select BIVOs	Select any of the offerings and select the associated BIVOs.
	Configure External Storage	Select a storage location for the cloud extract files.
Schedule an Extract	Run an Extract	Create an extract schedule or run data extract for the selected BIVOs.
	Schedule an Extract	You can create and run multiple extract schedules and data extracts.
Administer	Monitor an Extract	You can view last cloud extract and check error messages in the case of failures. You can check scheduled jobs’ logs to review issues causing errors and get support to resolve them.
	Download extract files	Download the extracted files from the configured storage location.
