Personalization

Personalization refers to the changes that every user of the application can make to certain artifacts in the UI.

Personalization applies only to the user who made them. They remain every time the user signs out of the application and signs back in.

Here are some examples of personalizations, specific to a user:

  • How they use the UI, such as changes to the column width of a table

Note: Sometimes changes to the column widths of tables remain only while you're on the page. If you navigate away and then return to the page, the column widths are restored to their original sizes. However, the application behavior may vary in some cases.
  • What they want to save, such as search parameters

  • What they want to see, such as the work area icons to show or hide on the home page
