Provision a Oracle Cloud Integration Service into the Fusion Applications Identity Domain

You can provision a new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Service, such as Oracle Integration, into a Fusion Applications Identity and Access Management (IAM) identity domain so that you don’t have to create another IAM domain for Fusion Applications extensions.

This section assumes that you've Oracle Universal credits to create a new instance of an OCI service, such as Oracle Integration. The instructions detail how to create an Oracle Integration instance using the Fusion Applications identity domain.

  1. Navigate to cloud.oracle.com, enter your cloud account name, and click Next.
  2. On the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure UI, select the Fusion Applications identity domain from the Sign in with an identity domain field and click Next.

    If you need to identify the Fusion IAM domain associated with your Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, do these tasks:

    1. Sign in to the default identity domain. You must have administrator privileges.
    2. Click Navigator menu > My Applications > Fusion Applications.
    3. On the Overview page, select the environment to identify the associated IAM identity domain.
    4. On the Environment Details page, click Integrations.
    5. Under Integrations section, click the URL against the Associated Identity Domain.
    6. On the Overview page, note the domain name. Select this domain name from the Sign in with an identity domain field.

  3. Open your Oracle cloud account URL in your browser. Here the tenant name is your cloud account name.
  4. On the Oracle Cloud Account Sign In page, enter your cloud account user name and the password that you configured during the cloud account activation and click Sign In.
  5. Click Navigation menu > Developer Services.
  6. On the Developer Services page, click Integration under the Application Integration category.

  7. From the Compartment list, select your desired compartment.
  8. On the Integration instances page, click Create instance.

  9. On the Create instance dialog box, enter these values:
    1. In the Name field, enter a name for the instance.
    2. Select the edition.
    3. Select the shape.
    4. Select the license type.
    5. Click Create.
Your Oracle Integration instance, created under the Fusion Applications identity domain and displayed under Integration instances, offers several key features:
  • All the Fusion Applications users are automatically available to be assigned to this integration instance.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled beween Fusion Applications and Oracle Integrations.
  • You can configure Oracle Integration to call Fusion Applications APIs using OAuth.
