What do I do if I get errors about enabling the search extension framework?

Follow these steps.

  1. Make sure the Enable/Disable Search Ext Framework (ORA_FND_SEARCH_EXT_ENABLED) profile option is set to Yes.

  2. Create indexes and ingest predefined indexes. To do so, submit the ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS process.
    Note: This job should only be run once and not on a regular or scheduled basis.
