Updating Bookmarks for a Vanity Domain

A vanity domain is a friendly web address that can be configured for you to use to access Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. These can use a custom prefix to the Oracle-owned domain, such as vision-abcdef.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com, or a custom domain with your company’s branding, such as apps.vision.com.

If your organization is using a vanity domain, you’ll need to update your OTBI bookmarks to use that domain instead of the default and use your bookmarks to navigate to your analyses and reports.

Create or update existing bookmarks for the following web addresses to point to your vanity domain:
  • <vanity domain>/analytics
  • <vanity domain>/xmlpserver
  • <vanity domain>/mapviewer
  • <vanity domain>/biacm
  • <vanity domain>/bicomposer

As an example, if your application web address for the BI catalog is https://<domain>.com/analytics/saw.dll?catalog, you would use a bookmark to https://<vanitydomain>.com/analytics/saw.dll?catalog.
