Cross-Product Features | A quick tour of Home with Ask Oracle
Title and music
Welcome to your Home experience in Fusion Applications with Ask Oracle enabled.
Here's the product map, which conveniently groups the apps and tasks you have access to for easy navigation.
These application names correspond to what you're already familiar with in the Navigator and your previous home page, providing a consistent experience.
You can see the full list of quick actions, sorted alphabetically for faster access.
To explore other applications or tasks, you can always return to the product map.
Now, let's select a work area from the product map.
For this example, we'll use the Redwood application, Connections.
Notice, that with the home view set to Home with Ask Oracle, the global header is no longer displayed.
This streamlined layout helps you focus on the task at hand without distractions.
After finishing your tasks on this page, simply use the Home icon to return home.
If you want to revisit the page you were just on, simply use Close Home.
You can also right-click Home to bring up a list of places you’ve recently visited, so you can quickly jump back to any of them.
You can also search for specific apps or tasks that you want. For example, if you want to know your learning details, type "my learning" in the search bar and you'll get relevant matches.
Select My Learning.
Use the home icon to return home.
Here's the list of notifications - the same ones that appear under the Notifications icon in the global header.
For some notifications, the primary action is shown. You can dismiss the notification directly, if you wish.
For notifications that don't have the primary action, select the notification for details and actions.
After you've been using Home with Ask Oracle for a while, you'll notice the Suggestions view becomes the default home view. This view shows a list of actions you’ve performed recently and those you've done more often at the top.
If you don't want to wait for suggestions to become your default view, you can set it as default at any time from the user menu.
You can also get to this view any time using the page control.
With the most frequent actions listed first, you can quickly get started with your tasks.
