Edit a User-Defined Query

Edit a user-defined query to change its details or query definition.

If the query is used in an extract definition, remove the query from the extract definition and add it again after you update the query. This ensures that the extract definition uses the updated query.

You can't disable an asynchronous user-defined query while it is used in an extract definition. Remove the query from the extract definition before you disable it.

1. From the Navigator, select Tools > Data Extraction.

2. Select User-Defined Queries.

3. Search for the user-defined query that you want to edit.

4. In the Actions column, select Edit.

5. Update the query details or query definition, as needed.

6. Select Update.
