Hands-on: Edit an Order Overview

This tutorial continues from where you left off in the first tutorial Hands-on: Manage Orders. On the Manage Orders page, you add the ability to navigate to the Edit Order page for each order. You use the Simple Create and Edit Template Pattern component to create a page where order managers can edit an order and submit their changes.

In this tutorial, you learn how to:

• Open your workspace if you're not already there.
• Navigate to the Edit Order page.
• Configure the Edit Order page.
• Configure the Edit Order page fields and input parameters.

Time to complete: Approximately 1 hour

Prerequisites

• Download and install the Google Chrome browser (version 84 or later).

  Chrome is the only supported browser for Page Designer in Visual Builder Studio.

• Allow third-party cookies in Chrome. You need to complete these steps to accept third-party cookies:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click Customize and control Google Chrome (three vertical dots), and then click Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and security.
  4. Click Cookies and other site data.
  5. Click Allow all cookies.
  6. Close the Settings tab.
