Some certificates that are not defined as trusted root certificates still need to be
stored in order to verify a customer’s certificate, that is, the one that was used to sign the
customer’s S/MIME email. These are called intermediate certificates and are automatically
extracted from emails, requiring no intervention on your part.
- Click Configuration on the navigation
pane.
- Expand Site Configuration and double-click File Manager.
- Click the Switch To drop-down list
and select Intermediate Certificates.
- Click Browse and select the intermediate
certificate file you want to upload.
The file should be in DER Encoded Binary X.509 (.cer, .crt)
or Base-64 Encoded X.509 (.pem) format.
- Click Go to upload the file.
- To delete an intermediate certificate file, click the Delete File icon on the line that contains the file you
want to delete.
-
Click OK to confirm the deletion.
