Compile a Rule Base

This procedure uses contact rules as an example, but you can compile any type of rule using the same procedure.

1. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
2. Expand Site Configuration, then double-click Rules.
3. Click Contact, then click Edit to view the contact rules you will compile.
4. Click Compile.
   A message asks you to confirm that you want to compile the rule base.
5. Click OK.
   The compiler engine checks rules, states, and functions. If no errors occur, a message lets you know that the rule base compiled correctly.
6. Click OK.
   You can now continue editing the rule base.
