Rename a Tab, Group, or Button

Use this procedure to rename a tab, group, or button (either on the ribbon preview or in the item list).

1. To rename a tab, click the tab you want to rename.
   Note: The Home tab cannot be renamed.
   1. Click Rename Tab.
      The Rename Tab window opens.
   2. Enter a new name for the tab in the Tab Name field.
   3. Click OK.
2. To rename a button group, click the button group you want to rename.
   1. Click Rename Group.
      The Rename Group window opens.
   2. Enter a new name for the group in the Group Name field.
   3. Click OK.
3. To rename a button, click the button you want to rename.
   1. Click Rename Button.
      The Rename Button window opens.
   2. Enter a new name for the button in the Button Name field.
   3. Click OK.
4. Click OK.
