Add the Custom Currency Type Field to Quotes
You can enable salespeople to enter a currency when creating a quote.
Here's how to add an editable custom currency field:
- Sign in as the sales administrator or as a setup user and create and activate a sandbox.
 - Navigate to .
 - In the navigation tree, expand Standard Objects, and then expand Sales Order.
 - Click the Fields node.
 - On the Custom tab, select New from the Action menu.
 - In the Select Field Type window, select the Currency field type and click OK.
 - In the Create Currency Field window, enter a display name for the field for example, enter "Currency". Ensure that Updatable is checked in Constraints.
 - Click Save and Close.
 - Next, expose the new field for quotes (Sales Orders object).
 - Click the Pages node in Sales Orders.
 - In the Sales Orders: Pages page, ensure that the Application Pages tab is selected.
 - From the Actions menu, select Duplicate.
 - In the Duplicate Layout dialog box, enter a name for the new layout and click Save and Edit.
 - In the Landing Page Layout page, click the edit icon next to Fuse Quote Overview Table.
 - In edit mode, find the newly created Currency field in the Available Fields box and move it to the Selected Fields box.
 - Click Save and Close and then click Done.
 - Verify the changes by signing in as a user with access to the Quotes and Orders pages,
            such as a sales administrator or salesperson: 
- Navigate to Quotes and Orders while still in the active sandbox.
 - Click Show Advanced Search.
 - Click Add.
 - Click Currency and add the field.
 
 - Publish the sandbox.
