Make a Copy from an Opportunity Quote

When selling similar products to different customers, salespeople can make a copy of an existing opportunity quote and reuse the quote lines and other details for another opportunity.

Note: Salespeople can make copies from opportunity quotes only. Opportunity quotes are the quotes created from an opportunity.

Here’s how to make a copy from a quote:

1. Go to Quotes and Orders while in the opportunity or account details pages.
   Note: From the account details page, salespeople can create a copy only if the quote is associated with an opportunity. They can’t copy quotes that are created from accounts without an opportunity associated.
2. Click the Actions icon for the quote to be copied and select Duplicate.
3. On the Duplicate Quote window, select the Opportunity.
   
   
4. Click Save and Continue.

   The sales application opens the copied quote in Oracle CPQ.

5. Rename the quote, review the quote lines, update the contact, and make other changes.
6. In Oracle CPQ, click Save and then click Update Sales.

   When the quote gets closed in Oracle CPQ, the changes reflect in the Sales. The quote shows in the Quotes and Orders page of the opportunity that the quote was copied from.

7. Click Save and Close.
