Understand default account-based OSF widgets

The Open Storefront Framework (OSF) includes a number of default layouts and widgets that you can customize as you build your account-based store.

OSF includes a template that acts as a core account-based reference store with a library of reference components and core shopping flows, leveraging best practices, to help accelerate new deployments and maintain a best practice implementation. The application supports responsive design for mobile and desktop storefronts.

Note: To learn about account-based stores in Commerce, see Configure Business Accounts.

This section describes each of the default account-based layouts in OSF, including the default widgets available for each layout. Detailed information about each widget's code, including actions, selectors, fetchers, and endpoints, is available in the JS API documentation that you can download from Oracle Customer Connect.

The reference application includes the following account-based shopper flows:

  • Account/Contact self registration
  • Contact login
  • Purchase lists
  • Scheduled orders
  • Quick order and copy order
  • Order capture (Volume pricing, account-specific shipping and payments, and invoice payments)
  • Order approvals
  • Account-level address management
