Add a New User to Cloud Account
You can create a user within the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service application in OneConsole who can work with the Service Console.
- Login to OneConsole.
- You'll be directed to Applications Home page.
- Under Quick Actions,click Add a user to your tenancy.
- Click Create user and complete these fields on the
Create user page:
- Type the first and last names of the user in the respective fields.
- If you want the email address of the user to be the Username to access OneConsole, add it in the Username/Email field. Then, select Use the email address as the username.
- If you want to the Username to be different from the email address, type aunique username in the Username/Email field. Then, deselect Use the email address as the username. Type the email address in the Email field.
- If you want to provide administrative privileges to the user, under Groups section, select Administrators group.
- Click Create.
The selected Oracle Cloud Services user is assigned to work with the Service Console of Oracle Commerce Cloud Service.
Commerce Cloud Environment Administrator
Commerce Cloud Environment Administrator can perform all tasks required to create and manage Commerce environments. The Commerce Cloud Administrator can also view the subscriptions in your tenancy and access metrics data.
Example policy to apply on the group which needs the environment administrator privileges.
Allow group <your-group-name> to manage commercecloud-environment-family in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read organizations-subscriptions in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read organizations-assigned-subscriptions in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read organizations-subscription-regions in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read metrics in tenacy
Commerce Cloud Environment Viewer
The Commerce Cloud environment viewer can view details and monitor the environments in the Oracle Cloud Console. This role can't make any updates. The environment viewer can also view the subscriptions in your tenancy and access metrics data.
Example policy to apply on the group which needs the environment administrator privileges
Allow group <your-group-name> to read commercecloud-environment-family in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read organizations-subscriptions in tenacy
Allow group <your-group-name> to read organizations-assigned-subscriptions in tenacy
