Specify a default shipping country

You can optionally specify a default country that automatically appears in the shipping address and appears at the top of the list of available shipping countries .during checkout.

This section applies to both OSF and Storefront Classic. This section applies to Open Storefront Framework (OSF) and Storefront Classic.

The shopper can select a different shipping country.

To specify a default shipping country, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Settings icon, then select Shipping Methods.
  2. Select a default shipping country.
    The default shipping country you select must be a country from one of your enabled shipping methods. Otherwise, the storefront will not display the default country you selected.
