Using Object Storage instead of a Secure FTP connection has the following benefits:

Object Storage is part of and leverages Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The file transfer speed of Object Storage is faster and more secure than a Secure FTP connection. Overall, Object Storage provides better performance.

Using a Secure FTP connection requires you to provide your own server. An Object Storage connection doesn't require a server.
