Running an Oracle Integration Cloud Integration

• Run an OIC Integration
• Loop Get Job Status until job completes.
• Get Job Results

Recording an Integration Run

• Create an OIC Integration History Record
• Update the OIC Integration Task History Record after the operation completes or encounters an unrecovered error.

Recording a Cloud EDM Task During an Integration Run

Invoke the applicable Cloud EDM operations. Include the returned integrationHistoryId from Create an OIC Integration History Record only when the request schema supports it:

  • Import a Dimension by Name
  • Import Dimension from File

• Export Operations:
  • Export a Dimension by Name

  • Extract a dimension viewpoint

  • Load a Viewpoint From a File

Recording a Custom Task During an Integration Run

• Before a significant operation outside Cloud EDM begins: Create an OIC Integration Task History Record.
• Perform the external operation.
• Update the OIC Integration Task History Record after the operation completes or encounters an unrecovered error.
