Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 for Communication
To satisfy the requirement of encrypted data communication, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud uses TLS 1.2 with SHA-2/SHA-256 Cryptographic Hash Algorithm to secure communication with browsers, Oracle Smart View for Office, EPM Automate and EPM Agent. All EPM Cloud sessions are encrypted. Session information stored in cookies is encrypted and the session ID is randomly generated to ensure security.
Classic and OCI (Gen 2) environments support the strong ciphers. Examples:
- ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384
- ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384
- ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
- ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256
- DHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384
- DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA256
- DHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
- DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA256
