Selecting Members for the User POV from the Report Designer

The user and grid POV enables report Planning Viewers to customize reports by selecting members for dimensions. The following rules apply:

Only one member can be selected for a dimension on the POV.
The default member for a dimension is the top member.
For an attribute dimension, you can specify None. In this case the attribute dimension is not used in the report.

To select a member for the user POV:

Open a report with dimensions displayed in the user POV.
On the user POV, click the dimension for which you want to select a member. The Select Members dialog box is displayed.
Select the member to run for this report, then click OK. The member is displayed on the user POV.
Optional: If you do not want the attribute dimension to be used in the report select None.
