Reallocate Tablespace

Free unused and space in your tables enabling you to free up space available for the storage of data.

Use the Reallocate Tablespace maintenance script to free unused and space in your tables. Reallocating tablespace enables you not to exceed the space quota defined for a specific table and free up space available for the storage of data.

Note:

Do not load data when executing this script.

To run the Reallocate Tablespace script:

  1. From the Data Integration home page, and then from the Actions menu, then from the Other actions drop-down, select System Maintenance Tasks.

  2. From System Maintenance page, click Image shows Select icon. to the right of the Reallocate Tablespace task.

  3. Click OK.
