Correcting Report Errors

You may encounter errors on the entire report, or on a specific report object.

Report Errors

Report errors are indicated by a red bar above the report header. Click on the bar to display the error text.

Note:

The most common cause of a report error is two overlapping report objects. To correct the error, make sure that the report objects do not overlap with one another.

Report Object Errors

Report object errors are indicated by a red X in the upper left corner of the report object. Place your mouse over the indicator to display the cause of the error. Possible causes include:

• The data source connection for the report object is no longer valid (for example, it may have been deleted).

• The report object overlaps with another report object.
