Architecture Overview

Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM delivers AI through two tracks: embedded EPM AI capabilities and EPM Assistants implemented with AI Agent Studio. Availability varies by business process, feature, subscription, and release. AI Agent Studio is a native component of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. It provides a design-time environment for creating, configuring, testing, and deploying AI agents that interact with EPM business processes through REST APIs. The agents operate within the Fusion security model: business object access, data security, and user role assignments from Fusion Applications apply to all agent actions. Track 1: AI features for all Cloud EPM and Cloud EDM Customers

Track 2: EPM Assistants using AI Agent Studio

EPM Assistants are downloadable JSON templates that can be imported into AI Agent Studio to create custom AI agents for EPM business processes. The agents retrieve data, trigger actions, and automate interactions with Oracle Cloud EPM services through REST APIs. EPM Assistants include sample definitions based on a Vision application; each template must be customized to reflect the specific Oracle Cloud EPM application: process names, dimension members, approval rules, and data connections are not preconfigured.
