Opening Financial Reporting Files in Another Format

To open Financial Reporting files in a format other than the default format, from the content area of the Explore Repository, right-click a file, then select Open In, and then select a format:

  • HTML Preview

  • PDF Preview

  • Studio Preview

Note:

To view a report or book in a PDF format in a Chrome browser, the "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome" option must be disabled. This option is disabled by default. If you are getting an error when trying to process a Financial Reporting report or book in a PDF format, do the following:

  1. Open Chrome and select Customize Chrome button.

  2. Select Settings, then Privacy and Security, and then Site Settings.

  3. In Site Settings, scroll down and select Additional Content Settings.

  4. Select PDF Documents and ensure that Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome is disabled.
