Making Adjustments to a Product Promotion

After you've assigned a promotion to products and calculated the promotion, uplifts are calculated based on the percentage you specified and are spread across the promotion date range. Evaluate whether you need to make any additional adjustments for the promotion for specific products in a multiple product promotion. Adjustments are spread across the promotion date range.

To make adjustments to a product in a promotion:

  1. From the Home page, click Key Account Planning Key Account Planning icon, and then click Trade Promotions Trade Promotions icon.
  2. In the Promotion to Product area, select the promotion, and then for the product you want to adjust, enter an absolute value in the Adjustment column. Adjustments are made as an absolute value increase or decrease to the volume or revenue calculated for the product by the Uplift % entered for the promotion. The adjustment is spread only to the promotion period range.
  3. Click Save.

    The adjustment is spread across periods for the promotion date range.
