4 Customizing the Manifest File

You can customize the manifest file in various ways to fit your requirements.

You can do the following customizations:

• Add commands to the right-click context menu

• Enable Oracle Smart View for Office (Mac and Browser) functions on ad hoc sheets and in the Function Builder interface

• Enable these extensions:

  • EPM Admin Extension

  • EPM Books Extension

Before you begin customizing the manifest file, complete the steps you require, including any optional steps, up to 11 in Creating and Saving the Manifest File.

Then perform the steps in these procedures to customize the manifest file:

• Adding Commands to the Right-Click Menu
• Enabling Functions Support and Functions Builder
• Enabling Extensions in Smart View (Mac and Browser)

When you’ve finished your customizations, return to step 12 in Creating and Saving the Manifest File.
