About Zooming In and Out

Data source types: Oracle Essbase, Planning, Planning Modules, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Narrative Reporting, Profitability and Cost Management, Tax Reporting

You can zoom in on members in the grid to display data for their children and descendents.

Note:

Zoom In and Zoom Out operations are not supported in these cases:

On member formula cells when connected to an aggregate storage database.

Zoom operations on member formula cells are supported only when connected to a block storage database.
On views inserted from Oracle Analytics Cloud data sources.

Oracle Essbase; and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Standard-mode applications, such as Planning: You can zoom in to display data for members of the same level, same generation, or sibling level as the selected member.

Essbase: You can zoom in to display data for members that are defined by the formula of the selected member when connected to block storage databases.

Note:

In the Zooming In and Out topics, references to EPM Cloud Standard-mode applications apply to these business processes: Planning, Planning Modules, Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, and Tax Reporting.
