Assigning Access to Individual Business Rules

Service Administrators can assign access to business rules.

To assign access to an individual business rule:

  1. From the Home page, select Business Rules.

  2. Select a business rule, click Permission icon, and select Assign Permission.

    Note:

    You can assign permissions to only one business rule at a time.
  3. In the Assign Permission dialog box, click the Permissions tab.

    Any previously selected users and groups are displayed. To add additional users or groups, click Add User/Group, select a user or a group, and click OK and then Close.

  4. For each user or group displayed, select an option:

    • Launch allows the user or group to launch the selected business rule.

    • No Launch prevents the user or group from launching the selected business rule.

  5. Click Save.

Note:

The rules that are displayed on the Business Rules page are the business rules created in Calculation Manager. Any Allocation and Custom Calculation rules created Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management are not displayed on this page.
