Launching Business Rules From the Business Rules Page

To launch a business rule from the Business Rules page:

  1. From the Home page, select Business Rules.

  2. On the Business Rules page, select the desired business rule, and click Launch Launch button.

Note:

Business rules must be deployed in Calculation Manager before they can be launched. If a business rule has not been deployed, it will not display on the Business Rules page. To deploy a business rule, right-click the rule in Calculation Manager, and select Deploy. If the deployment is successful, a "Deployment was successful" message is displayed.

Note:

Allocation and Custom Calculation rules created in Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management are not displayed on the Business Rules page. Only business rules created and deployed in Calculation Manager are available to launch on this page.
