Managing Folders and Reports
Reports are managed on the Reports page with different view options available.
On the Documents page, you can access and maintain 3rd party
documents used and generated with Books and Bursting; for example, MS Word and PDF
documents inserted in Books and .CSV files used in a bursting
definition, along with PDF files generated by a bursting definition.
Reports and Documents are grouped into folders.
When viewing the Reports page you can:

Search by a report artifact

Filter by a folder. You can filter by the type (Report, Snapshot, Book, Bursting Definition, Shared Report)

You can switch between a folder tree view or a flat list view:

Preview a report in one of the following report formats:

HTML
-
PDF
-
XLS

Report designers can perform the following folder and report management tasks by clicking
the
(Actions) icon for folders or for individual reports:

For folders:

Upload (Documents only)

The Documents list supports the following file types and
extensions (the default file size limit is 5mb, except for .PDF which
supports 100mb):
- Word (
.DOC,.DOCX) - Excel (
.XLS,.XLSX) - Comma Separated Values (
.CSV) - PDF (
.PDF) - Text (
.TXT) - PowerPoint (
.PPT,.PPTX)
To upload a 3rd party file in Documents:

View the Documents page, select a destination folder, then either:

Click Actions, and then Upload.

Click the
(Actions) icon and select Upload.

In Upload, select a file to upload from your local file system, and then click OK. The file will be uploaded to the selected folder.
To download a 3rd party file in Documents, in the Documents list, browse to the desired file location and click on the file name to download it.
