User Request Best Practices

The key point of failure in PCM Agent is a poorly formed user request. Requests in PCM Agent are more successful if these best practices are followed:

• Start the request with Action Verb + Artifact Type

  For example, Create Model, Run Calculation, List Rules

• Use single quotes around artifact names to avoid confusing AI with similar names of actions or artifact types

• Use the artifact type before the artifact name

  For example, Model ‘Alternative Svc Allocations POC’

• Separate POV members by a colon ':'

Many commands have default options you can rely on:

• Default properties are shown in the instructions in the PCM Agent interaction panel

• The POV defaults to latest used POV in the Rule Balancing page

• The model defaults to latest used model on the Designer page
