Start of Day Pre-brief
The Start of the Day Pre-brief helps mobile workers prepare for their workday by identifying the required parts for scheduled activities and reserving them in advance.
The pre-brief appears on the My Route page and uses an AI agent to check inventory availability and reserve parts before work begins.
When the required parts for any activity in the route are unavailable, the
Missing Required Parts section appears at the top of the My
Route page including:
- Item description
- Required quantity
- Associated work order
- Status (Reserved in Stocking Location or Not Reserved)
The Missing Required Parts section remains visible until the route is activated.
The application automatically evaluates part availability and reserves required parts
before the workday begins.
- The AI agent checks part availability across configured stocking locations in
this order:
- Mobile worker stocking locations
- Manned stocking locations
- Unmanned stocking locations
- Site dedicated stocking locations
- If all required parts are available, they are automatically reserved.
- If parts are unavailable, they are flagged in the Missing Required Parts section.
Only stocking locations with Active status and Usable condition are considered.
To use the Start of the Day Pre-brief, your administrator must:
- Enable the Fusion Setup Manager (FSM) flag: ORA_FFS_START_OF_DAY_BRIEF.
- Configure required roles, permissions, and data access for the AI agent.
The AI agent currently supports responses in English only.
