Complete an Activity

Typically, resources mark activities as complete when they actually complete the activities. If necessary, you can mark the activity as complete on behalf of the resource.

  1. Sign in to Oracle Field Service as Dispatcher.
  2. Click the navigation menu and then click Dispatch Console.
  3. In the resource tree, select the resource that you want to complete the activity for.
  4. Click the hint for the activity that you want to complete and click End.
    The Complete activity page appears. The fields on this dialog vary based on the way your organization has configured the application.
  5. In the Completion Time field, change the time as required, within the same working day.
    The time is displayed in the time display format that's configured for you. You can change the time in increments of five minutes. The time you select here, is displayed on Dispatch Console and the activity history, and sent to external applications through integrations. If you're offline, you can't change the completion time. You must switch to online to completion the activity with the time that differs from your current time.
  6. Click Submit.
    After you complete an activity, you can't update its inventory details.
