Activate Screens

There are few pages such as Asset Details, Debriefing, and Parts Ordering require additional setup before mobile workers can use them.

Here's an example of how to configure and activate these pages.

Sign in to the application as an administrator.
Click Configuration > Displays > Screens. The Screens page appears.
In the left pane, select the user type for which you want to activate a page.
For example, go to Activity->Asset Details.
The Activate Screen page appears and these sections are displayed:
- Properties to be added: These are the properties that are automatically installed with the plug-in. These properties are available on the Configuration > Properties page. If you de-install this plug-in in the future, these properties will remain on the Properties page.
- Existing properties to be used: These are the properties that are required for the plug-in and are currently present in Oracle Fusion Field Service.
  Note: If a property has an incorrect configuration (for example, for property type or entity), then you'll see a corresponding message. Open the plug-in's documentation, find the property requirements, and change the property settings accordingly.
Select an Application to connect to Oracle Fusion Field Service REST API.
Review the list of properties that will be created or used.
Click Activate and confirm the activation.
A message similar to, '{Screen Name} Successfully activated.' is displayed after the activation. You can activate plug-in only once and the Activate button is activate button is not available. The plug-ins are supported only in the English language and the plug-in doesn't work in offline mode.

Note: Pages will be activated for all user types at once, saving configuration efforts, as the setup of the pages cannot differ depending on the user type.
