Employee Transfer Using 'partyID'

Oracle Fusion applications such as Fusion Service and Service Logistics use TCA 'partyID' as a unique identifier for syncing employee information across the application. This accelerator updates the 'partyID' as the Oracle Fusion Field Service resource external identifier, so that the employee information is synchronized based on this ID.

Note:
  • This accelerator syncs employee data only if the TCA 'partyID' is generated. The partyID is generated instantaneously for the employees with the current and past hire dates in the Oracle HCM Cloud New Hire page. For future-dated employees, the partyID is generated after the ESS job "Maintain Party and Location Current Record Information" is run. As such, it's very important that this job is scheduled.
  • partyID is used as the external ID of the Oracle Fusion Field Service resource.
