HCM to Oracle Field Service Entities and Properties Mapping

The mapping table given here lists the mapping between Oracle HCM Cloud entities and properties to their corresponding Oracle Fusion Field Service counterparts as configured in the accelerator.

For example, a business unit in Oracle HCM Cloud can be treated as an organization unit in Oracle Fusion Field Service since both are functionally designed to manage the resource reporting structure.

Absence Type	Non-Working Reason	Absence Types such as 'sick leave' and 'earned leave' are mapped to Oracle Fusion Field Service non-working reasons such as 'illness' and 'vacation'. In case of holidays, the Oracle HCM Cloud absence type expected to be configured in the lookup is 'CAL' and the corresponding Oracle Fusion Field Service non-working reason such as 'Holiday' can be mapped.

Note: In the accelerator, a business unit from Oracle HCM Cloud is mapped as an organizational unit in Oracle Fusion Field Service. You can configure the ORCL-BRT-HCM-OFS_RESOURCE_BUCKET_MAPPING to define the bucket under which the mobile worker resource must be created. The lookup expects the source value in the format 'Business Unit#Department'. If no match is found in the lookup and OFS_SkipDefaultBucketCreation from the lookup table ORCL-BRT-HCM-OFS-CONFIG is false, then mobile workers are created under the business unit.
