Overview of Importing and Exporting Forecast Data

You can import and export forecasting data in CSV format. Exporting lets you to process the data in the external applications.

For example, you may choose to use Oracle Fusion Field Service Forecasting Cloud Service “as is” (with only slight Set Plan changes) for the duration between 4 months and 12 months. However, your forecasting analyst may find that planning in a tighter time frame (maybe less than four to six months) requires additional information from outside sources.

You may plan a marketing campaign for certain areas of the country. Or, you may notice that this year’s weather patterns over the Pacific Ocean indicate a greater amount of rain in certain months over certain areas. Your analyst can use the robust import and export tool to change the plan in applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, or Google Spreadsheet and then upload the updates.
