Deleting Attributes

When you delete an attribute, all attribute values associated with the attribute are also deleted. Attribute values are removed from members to which they had been assigned, and the attribute is removed from dimensions to which it was assigned.

To delete attributes:

1. Click the Navigator icon .
2. Under Create and Manage, click Dimensions.
3. Select the sparse dimension for which to delete an attribute, and click Edit.
4. Click Custom Attributes.
5. Select the attribute to delete.
6. Above the Attributes column, click Delete.
7. Click OK.
8. Update and validate rules and reports.
