Exporting Year-to-Date (YTD) Data

The method to export Year-to-Date (YTD) data depends on the type of Financial Consolidation and Close application that you are exporting data from:

  • Extended Dimension DSO application – Specify the YTD member in the Data Integration Optionshttps://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/enterprise-performance-management-common/diepm/integrations_filters_104x99ff59a5.html filter for the View dimension. You need to specify the All Data option in order to export the dynamically calculated YTD member of the Sparse View dimension.
  • Extended Dimension non-DSO application – YTD data may be stored in the YTD member or dynamically calculated in the YTD_Rule member.
    • Stored YTD – Depending on whether the Control To-Date View Storage option is enabled and how the application is managed, data may or may not exist in the stored YTD member. If you have confirmed that data does exist in the YTD member intersections that you are looking to export, you can specify the YTD member in the Data Integration Options, Filters filter for the View dimension. You do not need to specify the All Data option in order to export the stored YTD member.
    • Dynamically calculated YTD_Rule – Specify the YTD_Rule member in the Data Integration Options, Filters filter for the View dimension. You must specify the All Data option to export the dynamically calculated YTD_Rule member of the Sparse View dimension.
  • Legacy (non-Hybrid) Financial Consolidation and Close application – You cannot export YTD data directly. You can export Periodic data and aggregate prior periods to generate YTD data by using member mappings. You need to pay attention to the Account Type and not aggregate Balance accounts.
