Deleting Override Translation Rules

From the Manage Translation Override Rules page, you can view and delete Override Translation rules. You must be a Service Administrator to delete rules.

To prevent a referential integrity problem with override translation rules from occurring in the application, Financial Consolidation and Close verifies and prevents the deletion of any metadata member that is referenced in the rule. If the member is referenced in an Override Translation rule, the system displays a Failure error and the member is not deleted.

To delete an Override Translation rule:

  1. On the Home page, click Application and then click Consolidation.

  2. From the Consolidation Process page, select the Translated tab, and then select Translation Overrides.

  3. From the list of rules, select a rule, then click
    Delete icon
    .

  4. If the rule has been deployed and then changed, both the deployed and changed items will be deleted.
