2 Overview

This guide contains information about tables within Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close and their columns, primary keys, indexes, and foreign keys, if applicable.

Tables are the basic unit of data storage in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close, where data is stored in rows and columns. For example, the FCM_USERS table is a common table and stores information about the users such as first name, last name, time zone preference, user interface preference.

Example 2-1 How This Guide is Structured

This guide is divided into two sections:

  • Common Tables - these tables start with FCM
  • Enterprise Journals Tables - these tables start with SDM
