Set Up the Profile Option to Enable Descriptive Flexfields for Oracle Joint Venture Management

Set up the profile option to enable descriptive flexfields for Oracle Joint Venture Management before you configure descriptive flexfields.

1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance and select the Joint Venture Management functional area under the Financials offering.
2. Click Show - All Tasks and then select the Manage Joint Venture Profile Options task.
3. On Manage Joint Venture Profile Options, in the Profile Option Code field, enter ORA_JV_ENABLE_DFF_DISPLAY and click Search.
   The application displays the Enable Joint Venture Descriptive Flexfields Display profile option.
4. In the Profile Values section, click Add.
5. In the first row:
   1. Select Site for the Profile Level.
   2. Select Yes for the Profile Value.
6. Click Save.
   Note: When you set up the profile option to enable descriptive flexfields, a drop-down list named “Context Segment” is displayed as a placeholder in the work areas. After you set up the context segment for a work area, the name of the drop-down list and values in the list are automatically updated for the corresponding work area.
