Create Payments When Funds Are Insufficient

Budgetary control validation doesn't allow creating payments when the available funds are insufficient. However, you can enable the Allow Payments with Insufficient Funds check box to override this validation while creating a payment on the Create Payment page. This feature overrides only the payment failures caused due to insufficient funds.

To use this feature, you need the privilege Allow Payments with Insufficient Funds. This privilege is available by default for the following roles:

1. Accounts Payable Supervisor

2. Accounts Payable Payment Supervisor

Note: The Allow Payments with Insufficient Funds option isn't available on Pay in Full and payment process request payments.

If you want any user personas without this privilege, you can create a custom role and remove this privilege.
