Control Display of Approval History
To optimize the performance of the Transaction Details page you can create and enable the Transaction Console Disclose Approval History profile option. This profile option enables you to collapse the display of approval history.
If this profile option is set to true, the Approval History section will be in collapsed mode and users need to expand to view details. If this profile option is set to false or if the profile option isn’t defined, then approval history displays after opening the transaction.
Create the Profile Option
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Applications Core Profile Options task in the Application Extensions functional area for your offering.
- On the Manage Applications Core Profile Options page, click the New icon.
- On the Create Profile Option page, enter TAC_DISCLOSE_APPROVAL_HISTORY as the profile option code.
- Enter a display name that you can easily remember to help you find the profile option later, for example Transaction Console Disclose Approval History.
- From the Application list, select Common Work Setup.
- From the Module list, select Common Architecture.
- Specify a start date.
- Click Save and Close.
- On the Manage Profile Options page, make sure that your new profile option is selected in the Search Results: Profile Options subsection.
- In the <Profile Option>: Profile Option Levels subsection, select the Enabled and Updatable check boxes for the Site level.
- Save your work.
Set the Profile Option
In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Applications Core Administrator Profile Values task in the Application Extensions functional area. Set the TAC_DISCLOSE_APPROVAL_HISTORY profile option to true at the Site level.
